Football Days: Classic Football Photographs Review

It’s great fun looking through this book with a cup of tea during a quiet moment. It gives you an appreciation of how many things have changed in the game, but also how many things have stayed the same. There are some great old pictures, and they bring back memories for me like World Cups and cup finals but also has lots of much older pictures which are great to flick through. It also gives you a sense of the depth of football in the UK, with a picture of some dishevelled but perfectly usable goals and nets on Hackney Marshes. It also brings back memories of some of the grounds I visited pre-Premiership – places like the Baseball Ground, Derby – before the money really came into football and the big new stadiums were put up all over the place. Very few words but they are not required – the picures tell you everything you need to know. My only complaint – no pictures of The Dell, where I grew up as a football supporter and of which many football fans will have memories. Otherwise this would be five stars.

From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize the United States compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

Nikon 35Mm F1.4 Nikkor Lens A Review

Stopped down to F2 or F2.8 this lens gives finer resolution and better Strehl ratio than any colour film can cope with. In other words: superb for wide-angle landscape photography. At Full F1.4 aperture it is getting more than a little soft in the corners but still ideal for recording meteor trails and faint star-patterns: also slight signs of vignetting. Closest focus is about 6″ and resolution is still excellent.
